Why we built this.
We built ShotgunCV because we got tired of watching good candidates lose to the LinkedIn algorithm. The companies that hire aren't all posting roles. The cold-email plays that worked in recruiting work in job hunting too. They just have to be personal. So we wrote the tool that writes every one.
The product is simple on purpose. You upload your CV, pick your industries and target roles, and the system does the rest — research, writing, sending, and surfacing replies. No dashboard clutter. No fake urgency. No upsells once you're inside.
We launched in Denmark because we knew the market — Beatrice from a decade in Copenhagen hiring, Marc from running outreach-heavy growth campaigns for B2B companies. The hidden-market insight isn't original. Acting on it systematically at the candidate level is.
