No. Each email has a unique subject line and opening paragraph written specifically for that company. We read the company name, industry, and your CV together and decide which of your target roles is the most credible fit. No two emails in your campaign are identical.
If none of your target roles plausibly fit a specific company, we write a short honest introduction rather than a forced pitch. A genuine generic intro outperforms a bad-fit pitch every time — we'd rather skip the stretch than send something that reads wrong.
A 60–90 word opening paragraph that connects your specific background — years of experience, key achievements, relevant skills — to what the company likely needs. It's active voice, no corporate filler, no hollow superlatives. Recruiters are trained pattern-matchers and spot template language in seconds. We write to pass that test.

No. Each email is uniquely written for one company, paced over 5–10 days from a warmed-up professional sending inbox, and follows the same deliverability rules a recruiter uses to reach candidates. Emails land in the primary inbox, not spam. We've sent over a million emails this way — reply rates beat manual cold-applying by 42%.
We send from dedicated, warmed-up domains — not shared bulk-mail servers. Each inbox is aged and has a sending reputation built up before your campaign touches it. Emails are paced, not blasted. Subject lines and body copy are unique per recipient. These are the same practices a professional recruiter or sales team uses for cold outreach.
On average across 8,400+ campaigns, 21% of emails get a reply. That's ~42 replies from a 200-email Starter campaign. Around 8% result in an interview invite (~16 interviews). Your numbers will vary by industry, seniority, and how clearly your CV reads. We show these averages honestly — they're not guarantees.
Most don't. The emails are written to read as hand-written outreach. Recruiters who reply treat them as individual approaches. A small number of recipients may figure it out if they receive multiple emails from different candidates via the same sending domain — this is rare and the reply rates suggest it doesn't materially affect outcomes.
Yes. ShotgunCV is GDPR-compliant. Your CV, contact info and personal details are encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold, and permanently deleted on request. We use the data only to write and send your campaign emails.
Your email address, full name, CV content (used to generate letters), and the emails we've sent on your behalf. We also store replies for you to read in the dashboard. Nothing is sold to third parties. The full data inventory is in our Privacy Policy.
Go to Dashboard → Billing → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, CV, all generated emails, and your data from our systems. Deletion is irreversible. Per GDPR Article 17, we process the request within 30 days — in practice it happens within 24 hours.
We send to business contact addresses (company email inboxes, recruiter addresses, hiring managers) — not to individuals' personal email accounts. This is standard B2B cold outreach and falls under the legitimate-interest basis in GDPR, which covers business-to-business communication.
ShotgunCV ApS is a Danish entity registered in Copenhagen. The product is designed for GDPR compliance. B2B cold outreach to professional addresses is permitted under legitimate interest (Recital 47, GDPR). We are not a bulk consumer mailer — every email is individually written and sent to a business address.
Yes — from your dashboard, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate the difference. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle, so you keep what you've paid for through the current month.
Cancel from your dashboard the moment you accept the offer — no further charges. You keep access for the rest of the month you paid for, and your campaign continues sending. We'd rather you cancel happy than feel locked in.
The 50% off applies to your first month on Starter or Pro. After month one the plan reverts to standard pricing. The discount stacks on the per-application math shown on each plan card — so Starter at 50% off works out to ~€0.05 per application in your first month.
USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, and SEK. We auto-detect from your billing address at checkout; you can change it on the checkout page if needed. Stripe handles the conversion and the price you see is the price you're charged in your selected currency.
For EU customers, VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country and the prevailing rate. For non-EU customers, prices shown are final. ShotgunCV ApS is a Danish entity and remits VAT to the relevant authority on your behalf.
No traditional free trial. Instead: a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first month. If you're unhappy with the campaign for any reason, email support@shotguncv.com inside 14 days and we refund the full amount, no questions.
Yes. Every plan is month-to-month with no contract, no minimum period and no cancellation fee — cancel from your dashboard in one click and you won't be billed again.
Your campaign continues sending for the rest of the month you've already paid for. You keep full dashboard access until the period ends. After that, your account is downgraded and no new emails are sent. Your data is retained for 90 days in case you return, then deleted.
Not currently. Pause is on the roadmap. For now, the options are active or cancelled. If cost is the reason you want to pause, the Career Autopilot plan at €9/month is designed as a lower-cost always-on option between active job hunts.
We don't issue pro-rated refunds for mid-month cancellations — you keep access for the full paid period. The exception is the 14-day money-back guarantee on your first month: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, you get a full refund no questions asked.
We've run campaigns across 16 industries: Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Marketing, Design, Operations, Sales, Legal, Education, Logistics, Hospitality, Construction, Energy, Consulting, Media, and Non-profit. You pick during setup; we filter our company database to match.
Danish, Swedish, and English. You choose during onboarding (Step 4). The entire campaign — subject line, opening, cover letter, and reply drafts — is written in your chosen language. English is used for campaigns outside Denmark and Sweden.
Denmark and Sweden are fully supported with localised company databases. English-language campaigns reach the UK, US, and broader EU markets. We're adding Germany and the Netherlands next. During setup, pick the country that matches where you want to work.
Not simultaneously in one campaign — each campaign targets one primary country and language. Pro plan users can run separate campaigns for different markets. Contact support if you need a multi-market setup.
Pick the closest match and add a note in your target roles. Our company database has entries outside the 16 named buckets — the industry filter is a starting point, not a hard wall. You can also request specific industries via support and we'll check our database coverage.
