Terms of Service

By creating an account or using TryShotgun ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by TryShotgun ApS, registered in Denmark.

TryShotgun is an AI-powered job application service. We generate personalised cover letters based on your CV and profile, then send outreach emails to companies on your behalf. Companies contacted are not necessarily advertising open positions — we target the hidden job market.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
• You must notify us immediately at support@tryshotgun.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

• The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis.
• Prices are as listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@tryshotgun.com.

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide a truthful CV and profile information. We generate cover letters based on what you provide — misrepresentation is your responsibility.
• Not use the Service for spam, fraud, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
• Accept that emails are sent on your behalf. You authorise us to send outreach emails using your name and professional details.

We do:

• Send personalised, AI-written cover letters to real companies.
• Provide a dashboard to track applications, replies, and interview invites.
• Make reasonable efforts to ensure email deliverability.

We do not guarantee:

• That you will receive replies, interviews, or job offers.
• That every email will be delivered (deliverability depends on many factors).
• That company data (emails, names) is always current or accurate.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

• Your content: You retain ownership of your CV, bio, and any data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to process this data for the purpose of delivering the Service.
• Generated content: Cover letters generated by our AI are created for you and may be used freely. We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the Service.
• Our content: The TryShotgun name, logo, design, and software are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by Danish and EU law, TryShotgun ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost opportunities, lost revenue, or reputational harm.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
